This unique set consists of 9 sugarloaf colombian emeralds, weighinh 387ct, and is estimated to have been unearthed in the 1950s. In our opinion, these stones orginiated from the famous Muzo mines. This highly important collection of Emerlads is well-matched and posseses richly saturated deep to vivid green color.
This layout of large-size emeralds in matching shape and color deserves a special merit for the assembly these fine gems possess as a collective whole. Such a collection of Colombian emeralds in these sizes and color is very rare.
The center stone weighs 146ct, followed by a pair of 50.06ct and 50.64ct stones. The rest of the layout consists of an addtional 3 pairs of 29.03ct and 27.74ct, 26.7ct and 24.96ct, and the smallest pair cosists of two stones 11.81ct and 10.65ct.
All stones are natural, certified by GRS gemological laboratory, and contain minor amount of oil and are clean of resin*.
*The second smallest stone in this layout, 11.81ct, had a small piece broken which had been glued back. This is not uncommon for old layouts that have been worn and used by the lady who owned them.
